Establishing the User

We were clear on how we could fulfil the business needs and what it was we wanted to offer the user, however, for the product to be a true success we needed to identifying our primary users and ensure our plans met their specific needs and expectations.

Our research, plus listening to interviews with real patients provided by the client, helped to unveil three clear personas

:

  1. Gemma - sick and doesn’t know it; wants to get well; requires the full service (education, testing, diagnosis and healing plan)
  2. Akshay - sick and knows it; wants to get well but doesn’t need testing; he just needs to learn and go on the healing plan
  3. Bethany - well and wants to stay well; simply here to learn
